Water treatment is schematic process starts with raw water from various sources and it is pumped using raw water transfer pump, which is well protected to avoid exteriors contamination. Then the raw water is collected in collection/equalization/neutralization tank or raw water tank constructed with reinforced cement concrete whereas inner walls and floor of the tank may also be tiled completely it may depend on the characteristics of raw water and also based on application of treated water. Raw water is preliminarily disinfected dosing with disinfectant agents. The raw Water is passed into rapid sand filtration system or pressure sand filtration system using raw water feed pump to remove sediments, total settable solids, suspended solids, turbidity and solid particles such as scum. From sand filtration system the water is then passed through activated carbon filtration system to remove odour, colour residues of disinfectant, toxic elements and pesticide residues. The outlet water from the activated carbon filtration system is passed through ion exchange system and then passed through ultra filtration system or micron filtration system. The filtered water is passed through nano filtration system or reverse osmosis system with the help of booster pump depend on the treated water quality requirement and its application. The treated water is then collected in a clean and completely closed treated water tank and then disinfected with ozone using ozone generator cupped with oxygen concentrator. From the treated water storage tank the treated water is passed through post pleated micron filtration system and exposed to ultra violet disinfection system. The treated water is taken to supply application based on the appropriate requirement of treated water. The treated water may also subject to characteristic analysis of water with respect to physical, chemical and microbiological requirements. The scheme and method of treatment may shall vary depend on the characteristics nature of raw water and characteristics quality requirements of treated water.
